With the current high prices of rice, oil and etc., the vegetable rice stall at bedok north st 1 hawker centre serve the cheap n good rice with 3 items at only $2.00. Any 3 items, all 3 items meat oso can.
They oso serve free drinks. Very economical and good. Can try.

Tried this stall...but had 2 bowls of Porridge(with sweet potato)instead and 4 dishes...ALSO $2/- only. Nearby the fish soup/ rice stall is closed but the Nasi Lemak stall has long, long queue. There are quite a few very good food stall there.

Agreed wif Bro Drive, 216 food centre has quite a number of good and cheap stalls besides those stall bro drive mentioned, there fried carrot cake, fish ball noddle, nasi brani and roti prata.

yes, the bedok north hawker good and cheap... but the cheap economy rice stall close liao i think... last time i will order one fish and 2 veg with hot tea... shiok
try the wanton mee stall next to 'success chicken rice stall'.... run by an old man... must speak up cos he a bit deaf... $2 and very filling... once i told him i dont want meat... so he gave me 10 BIG wanton... i cant finish all...my colleague thought i paid $4 for it...
yeah the nasi lemak $2 very nice... the chai chee mee, the fish soup....
