Though it's sad that this happen, but as you can see, some pax are willing to pay hence there's a supply. Honestly, it only proves our fare are just too cheap for these pax to realise that they are actually being rob. When there's a demand, there's a supply. Though these actions tarnish our trade, i just hope tighter measure will be in place for cabbies who tout, ban them from driving taxi forever. TVL is so easily obtain nowadays, by clearing these few rubbish will not affect the coy taxis hireship.

i hv observed a couple of times whenever i passby or alight off pax and always i can see cabs plying along orhard road.like what bluenuts said..all lights were off and drivers standing and chatting.one look at it you will know what kind of tactic they are using.
well well...Touting is their way of making money but as long we dont follow these idiots we are always safe at hands.who knows there are LTA officers acting as pax?
customers or pax in orchard towers know where to get a cab right? taxi stand is right infront of the entrance so i doubt they are going to pay tht kind of trip. just ignore these stupid idiots.dont let them spoil yr day bros.

Most of the time a CDG limo always there the driver is a fat guy always wearing slipper. coy if really need to do something then is very easy to get rid of these rubbish, send a few amoh plaincloth snake will do! Guarantee no more. You thnk here is Bangkok ar?

Was dinner with overseas client at Hilton, we walked over to Orchard Tower saw a few cabs idled along Orchard Rd without drivers inside. They were standing along roadside eyeing target. When amoh passed by a man (could be a taxi driver?) asked "Do you need pretty girl?" Alama I was shock! No wonder long hours station there still can survive.
Finally before I finished my cigarettes a fat guy approached us spoke native singlish... "here no good lar, all amoh one lar, dirty and hiv lar.... good one all in hotel if you want I can bring you there, want or not?"
Are they touting?
