what if the economy recover 2 years later or unforseen circumstances arise?
you know, i've spoken to a few prime drivers n most of them were looking for someone to continue n take over their cab. well, you may be exceptional case but maybe you should try out first for a few mths as a taxi driver b4 you jump onto a ship.
anyway, yours is definitely not a worst case i've heard. i've seen someone who was coming from even much higher than you did. life is like that, it's up n down like a roller coaster. learn from the hard time n you would be stronger when the time is ripe.

Bro,
Can you write in short paragraphs...very hard to read leh....my eyes with glasses also went haywire...
Anyway...be strong and have some confident in yourself....
Here..with so many Bros ..you will have our supoort and sure make it ...
Do think carefully about the 5 years contract....it is the time factor that reuires some serious thinking..
You can drive for next 1 /5 / 15 years ...no body will stop you but why bind yourself when your journey ahead has alot instore for you....
Good Luck

Bro YTD, we know taxi driving is long term, what we are trying to tell you is that it's not wise for a newbie to be bonded for so long. When you got a bunch of ppl telling you the same thing, do you think there's no reason for that?
We welcome you with open arms joining us, we want you to be able to make enuf for your family too, we are not trying to stop you from joining our trade. We just don't want you to have the perception that taxi driving is easy money, thinking that as long you drive a cab and work hard, money will just come in.
If driving taxi is really your last hope, then i seriously urge you to find out more on other taxi coy, find out what they offer to new hirer. Don't look at the tangible difference, look at the intangible too, you'll have a better idea what's best for you.
I believe you know that most of us drive for CDG, but we are not trying to recruit you to CDG, just trying to let you know that there's more than just rental that determine our income.
Hope you can see what we are trying to help you understand.

In a contract situation the shorter the better. You can be planning to be a Cabby but you should not tie yourself to a company. Flexibility is the key for being a Cabby. Any way Good Luck and Drive safe.
Well. Guys. Thanks for all the advise..Now i only can do is work super hard for mi & my family.. I m onli 31. I think 5 yrs shouldn't be a problem as long I take care of my health. Give mi all your blessing & support... Just 1 month deduct rental & fuel.. 2.8k will settle all my burden.. So i plan to drive everyday n 1 day run 14 to 15 hrs.. U guys think can hit anot or close 1 eye also no problem.. Btw contract already sign 2 weeks ago so no turning bk liao.
Bro ytd, 14 to 15 hours is real tough, not close 1 eye... may be 2 eyes closed oneday. If u target 2.8k hehe close 3/4 eye will do even 12 hours, so you have extra 12 hours spare for relief driver.
Bro hwtan well said! our achievement is definitely governed by our own thinking, if we think BIG then success will be BIG BIG vice versa.
Bro YTD,since you are already in,go for it. Work hard for the next 3 months,I'm sure you'll turn around for good by then. But, the most important thing is to stay fit and healthy. On the road,be patient, control your anger.and obey traffic rules. Driving a cab on the streets is not as easy, like taking a vehicle for a drive. Good luck!
Btw since contract already sign there seem to be no turning back. In any case drive safe and take care. Have patience and trying to join our Bros for coffee session and get to learn more.
driving 14-15 hrs can hits $3k per mth. (personal experience) but i think you need to hv a healthy schedule to keep you going.
you should plan like few hrs morning, rest mid-day and continue after recharged. speak to those who drive OMO here n they would share some tips with you to survive.
