Was at Zoo taxis Q, no pax insight me the 3rd cab only got one ang mo tourist and philipin girl friend loitering around like looking for the best cab. First pax came and took the first cab,,,merc and zooom off. 2nd pax came and took the toyota wish and zoom off. Me now in the front-line like a hawk waiting for the next pry. Knock knock sound at the door, me unwind the window and ang mo ask what is my start fare, me say 2.80 he say ok and hop in. Off we went..he say go expressway, me say BKE- PIE he say ok. Along the way he say he only pay $16 when he comes and destination is katong hotel.Finally reached his place and fare was $19, he grumble and paid and closed the door. Fumming outside...me hack care and drove off...what a miser tourist. On the same day pick one tourist from suntec city to Sin Lin square, cab $5 gave $7 dollars, another to the zoo, cab already $18 still paid $20...nice and generous tourist.

u luck wor.... i encountered a few times at the zoo where ang-mo ask me to send them to the nearest mrt... WT#$#%% ..... with peak charge only $10 to kahtib mrt.... @$##% LL lor....
Not everyday lucky star will shine on us, me got also waited for 1.5hrs at the airport, pax go only tampinese and somemore stop along the main road and save a few cents. Me just squeeze my ball. Another occasion waited quite a while at SGH picka pax go to Chinatown Pearl center only. Once at bird park 4 noisy pax just go to boon lay MRT. Happen to be at sheng siong 10 mile junction taxis stand one night, got pax queing, front cab not interested to pick anyone and just zoom off, me go to front-line and pick up the 3 pax...wah lan...got tons of item to load for one month supply, never mind ask to go kanji along the way at the stratmore market stop over and load in somemore vegetables. Reached their factory dormitory sungei kadut only earn $5 plus...after that lost my way inside and do not know how to go out. Sometime doing good also got no return, pick one indian lady pax outside polyclinic with baby inside the stroller. Me have to help to close the stroller and put inside the booth. After got out me have to help her open the stroller..fare only $3.20. After that also never say thank You and just goes off. This is part and parcel of life as a taxis driver.
Maye we should not expect anything in return, life would be happier. Any positive returns i will take it as a bonus. Do what we are happy to do !! I always tell myself : its great that i can do this much for others. Keep it up and continue to help others in anyway we can. Happy driving.
in order to help others we must have enough for ourselves 1st.. u go suntec twr4 u have to expect full trolley of plastic bags or big parcels... many many other places also.. its up to u to go where u want and wat kind of fare u want to make.. drive smart not HARD..
