Bro chevy88, sorry to hear of ur accident.
From what u had described, i will say LL and pay up.
$100 is a small amt to settle this becoz if the other party were to
make an accident report, the claims may ballooned to thousands of $$$.
My advise is make sure both of u signed a 'mutual settlement form',
which means there will not be any more claims later on and the case is closed.

Thanks for your concern. In fact, I called up Citicab claim dept but they sound not keen in helping so I just drop the whole thing. Well I did. This thing happen so fast that I didn't tot of asking my passengers to be witness to it.

Claim dept fark them...u want them to help wait long long.

Had an accident last yr. Hirer go for holiday ask me to drive whole day. Lorry reverse and hit my cab in the morning. Driver was a foreign worker ask me to report. Went down to claim dept n report with 2 witnesses telephone no. Knn they say, I have to get the witness statement. They will not called the witness, not their job.. They said since accident report was made I have to pay accident liability $1500. Tulan report half way I walk off, they call me few time I don't pick up.

Cabby friend told me can get back the money if I'm less than 30% at fault. Also will be one year later. Long ago is fault or no fault. Now is how many % at fault. How many % fault they will decide. Money as good as gone.

Spent the whole day running around..calling friend ,visit wksp for quotation(Boo Loon at Sin Ming very helpful teach me how to solve this problem), call witness (they said if need to go court they don't want to be witness). Finally manage to persude them to help...arrange to meet them at night ,one at Taman Jurong the other at Bedok.

Veri veri tulan , I call the lorry driver co. Tell them... don't want to settle nvm ..I got photos n witnesses... taxi co. will claim jialat jialat. They scared and ask me how much... I tulan and say $500. Bargain until $450.. Rush down to get the money n made them sign the "mutual settement form" at around 4pm. Wksp say too late come back next day.The next day got it repaired and threw the "form" to claim dept. They want to photocopy a set for me. I say this type of help no need. Just keep the form properly n don't call me again.

Repair cost $120. Balance $330 for tulan the whole day n all the running about, lost of income.
Luckily got $70 collection b4 the accident. Still not worth ,if got high blood pressure sure collapse n die.

Bro chevy, I understand ur frustration but in tis case, sorry to say tat it's just not the right thing to do when report the accident and get e insurance coy involve cos e minimum sum tat will incur u is 1k.
Dear members, again I'm going to do my sales talk here.
Get urself a in-car video recorder which using bro chevy case as an example, u will not lose the case.
Though it's juz $100, but it's more than a day intake for most of us.
Why should we pay for someone else mistake?
