Source: The Straits TimesA Singaporean man, 27, is under investigation for bringing in 21 puppies via the Woodlands Checkpoint on Tuesday, Nov 20.He was spotted looking nervous by officers from the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA), who then checked his car and found the dogs.The puppies consisted 14 pomeranians and seven pugs, which were hidden under the cover of the spare tyre compartment.The puppies are now under observation at the Agri-food & Veterinary Authority.Anyone who imports an animal without a licence can be fined up to $10,000 or jailed up to 12 months, or both.
