Barely 3 weeks have gone by when a police report was lodged against a foreigner for issuing an onlinedeath threat against Singaporeans
(¡®Police report lodged against pinoy who threatens Singaporeans¡®), another police report has just been lodged against another.
Apparently, an Indian National studying in Singapore has said that he will take a ¡°big big revenge¡± on Singapore when he leaves the country.
He said that he is going to spit everywhere. The worst remark is he said he will ¡°plant bombs on Marina Bay Sands¡±:
.
A netizen has since filed a police report at Paya Lebar NPP against the Indian National:
Another netizen, Haron Tay, has also emailed to the principal of his school, Global Indian International School at the Queenstown campus,
voicing concerns. Mr Tay wrote, ¡°Good afternoon Mr. Mudgal, I am writing to you here concerning a rather serious matter that has been
circulating nationwide in all major Singapore forums within the past 24 hours, and we would like to check with you if you have a student
named Aditya Bhatia under your care at this time. As stated on his profile, he claims to be studying at the Global Indian International School.¡±
¡°According to other posts on Facebook, some users have already notified the police and actions might be taken against him soon. We hope
to hear from you as soon as possible through an official announcement with regards to this issue.¡± Mr Tay added, ¡°Personally speaking,
hating on Singapore isn¡¯t a problem, not even I would have liked it for what it has become of over the last 15 years. But a bomb threat is
just too much; no one from the law enforcement would take this lightly, regardless of his/her age and/or nationality.¡± Marina Bay Sands
(MBS) has also been informed of the threat and has replied through its Facebook that it will look into the claim seriously. MBS replied,
¡°Thank you for highlighting this to us. The safety of our Team Members and guests is paramount. Let us assure you that we will take
all necessary precautions and look into this claim seriously.¡±
TR Emeritus (TRE) also wrote to the Indian National, asking him why he is making such threats. This is his one sentence reply to TRE:
The threatening post has since been removed from his facebook but its screen capture has gone viral online.
