Well, i did it the first time after four months driving. Dropped off a pax at Hua Guan Ave and was heading back to Bt Timah Road. Saw an old lady with severe hunched back walking down the slope. I stopped and asked her where she going? Gave her a ride as she was heading to the bus stop at the main road. It was going to rain anytime soon then. Happy with myself. Its not about money all the time, Money cant buy you happiness.

well, i have done that a numerous time. most of them are either too old or too sick (from NKF dialysis centre)
btw, there's a woman in her early 30s at MBS would ask for free ride from the MBS hotel bus-stop to shenton way.
she would ask you in advance that if you could give her a free ride before she get into your cab. i said come in.
nvm la, it doesn't cost much. she looks pity. maybe she has 2 very old folks to feed at home.
I know gave a free ride to 3 young chaps from east coast park to bedok. It is very obvoius that they are trying to cheat me but I was thinking, nevermind la...
More often I'll give discount to those who seems not well off with their finance. :)
there is one NKF dialysis centre in pasir ris st 11. met one malay guy in his late 50 who is blind and need to go dialysis centre 3 times a week. he stays in Elias Rd. fare was $8+...i wrote it off. nvm la, how often do you meet them? take it as charity.
