I don't know whether SMRT will install for you as I am not their driver.
If don't have, then I will just go to Sim Lim Tower (don't have to go Sim Lim Square especially 1 - 3 floor to avoid the shops with bad reputations) basement to look around. Their pricing are quite competitive. If not, Autobac shops are everywhere and they also carry some.
if u meant in-car camera with voice recording, smrt would have installed in their new cabs. these are installed in our epica already. we also got radio installed as well I heard cdg dont have).
you might wanna shop after u get your prius, so dont have to spend unnecessary.
what would be useful is a phone charger, u will need a multi-port cos one for phone charger n one for taxi meter. if u want, u can also get a docking machine to hold yr mobile phone (tis is optional). i get my mobile accessories fm a shop at bencoolen street, called di 82, burlinton square #01-08. there are 2 shops there, this one is nearer to the koran supermarket. i like this shop cos i find their stuff is cheap n good. sim lim sq is next door, so u can go check out both to establish what is best for u.
How is the toyota Prius? I am currently taking my TDVL in SMRT. Will be taking test on 9 Jan. Hopefully can pass first try. I hope to start driving asap. Am considering to join SMRT and looking at getting Prius. Would you be willing to share your experience for the past few days after getting the taxi?
