Course fees should be the same for any centre. I paid $345 all in. These fees include course fee, material fee, test fee and admin fee.
According to the trainer, SMRT has higher rate of passing. But personally. I think it really depends on individuals' learning attitude. With right attitude and mind set, passing will not be a problem. Don't depends to much on tips as there are many questions in the data bank. Instead, listen carefully what the trainer emphasize, and the skill he is imparting to you. Even skill on how to tackle the exams. These are important.
I believe my trainer has given us much help. Now just depend on my own performance during the test.
It also depends on which company you want to join after you pass. It is better to the company training centre so you can fing out more about that company, and may be there are also extra training benefits should you join that company.
If you just want to pass and hold the TDVL as a back up, then I don't think there are any diiference.
