Always remember, worrying does not help you in anyway, but hinders you in every ways. Also, try to have the mentality of telling yourself to pick up any pax you see and not asking yourself if you should. You will only gain experience from there on. Few passengers may not like 'newbie' but bear in mind, no matter how they grumble, they are gone (mostly may not see them again) once they reached their destination & you go for the next one. Be more relax and gain your experience and build up your confidence. All the best ^_^

i use to worry too bao bao, whether should be or should not, so far for my driving since dec till now, only kena one very very jilat pax.. niam niam thru out the journey.. end of the day.. they can only be with us for 30mins ride, let them niam, just drive as per normal.. don't argue back even you are not in the wrong. the most like what my instructors taught me.. just let it go by hitting ur door after the pax alight or go let go your steam when u meet ur mates for tea or meals lor..
To drive taxi, one must have some money to start with for those very poor even paying initial deposit already pose a problem let alone some standby emergency cash for insurance .
Those who are driving taxis now deem very lucky. Some have licence donkey years ago cannot even start.

True to a certain extent. The deposit can be paid in monthly installments over six months. It's on a earn out basis i.e.,you drive, earn the money, then pay.
Basically, you will need around $600 to start (course fees, admin fees and first instalment of the deposit).
