Just brought my family to Kallang Bahru food centre for dinner. We had the herbal mutton soup. Not sure what part of the goat it was but there were pieces of meat with flat bones. That`s as close a description I can give. $3 per bowl. They have other mutton parts too that comes with diff prices like tendons and stomach. My mum commented that it was cheap. For me, as long as it is good to the taste, I am happy.
Also had the soon kueh, gu chai kueh and peng kueh. This stall is supposedly quite popular. The stall is facing the car park. Quite worth it and quite palatable. Ordered 5 mini soon kueh, 3 gu chai kueh and 3 peng kueh, all for $6.40.

Bro, not so good a location for our type of meet-up. 1stly, fixed- mounted tables with limited seats. 2ndly, weekends, many horse-crazy punters around.
I prefer the Indian Mutton Soup with "French Loaf" aka Sharp Head Bread. Very sinful stuff but heck, you only live once.
Raja Indian Mutton Soup at Upper Boon Keng Food Centre is awesome. Wonder if the renovation has completed.
Yes, open for about 2 months oready. Now no need use parking coupon, kena gantry type. Used to see a group of taxi uncles gather there for lunch too.
Erm, regarding d bread, hope u take this d right way. It was at this food centre that I saw this happened. I saw a van delivering these french loaf which were not covered/packed in plastic bags. Saw a couple of minahs helping themselves to the free food. Ever since I saw this, I skipped d bread, just have the soup and meat.

There are two stalls selling herbal mutton soup in Kallang Bahru hawker centre. Mongkok mutton soup is some where in the centre while another stalls (former from Queen street) in on the outside near carpark. I had tried the Mongkok stall, very good.... next time will try the other stall.
