Singapore, September 8, 2009 - Chong Qing Traditional Steamboat in Geylang Lorong 1 is offering a hotpot buffet at $13.50 only to celebrate its 5th anniversary.
The normal prices are $17 for adults and $8 for children.
It includes Sri Lanka crabs, more than 10 types of appetisers and 80 over types of meat, seafood, vegetables and other ingredients for hotpot.

This is one of the best steamboats I ever had! I’ve been there a few times, and every time it does not disappoint me.
There are 5 types of soup base to choose from and you can choose 2for one steamboat (there’s a divider). I would strongly recommend the Tom yam soup base for those who love spicy stuff. It’s not the usual Thai Tom yam kind of taste and it just tastes fantastic.
There are more than 80 types of food and more than 10 types of cooked food to choose from. And on top of these, there are free Sri Lanka live crabs, which is a real temptation for crab lovers.
As for the service, I would rate 3.5 out of 5.
It’s located near Kallang MRT, about 2 mins walk from the station. The only set back is that it’s not air-conditioned, but there are a number of ceiling fans to ensure adequate air ventilation. And all these only come at a price of $13.50 per adult and $8.00 per child net, without GST and service charge.

tried two buffet shops at this stretch past 2 months... gave up liao. the crab, prawn, seafood stuff taste... funny if i wanna try seafood, 100% won't be at this type of place anymore
