Old bird will go right and tell you less traffic light to hit AYE,new bird like me will go left and turn right at Alexandra Rd then hit AYE.Though i never turn right before, but i think there shouldn"t be much difference here.Turn right for sure more smooth journey throughtout, turn left if doesn"t stuck in any red light should be a little bit cheaper in fare.If stuck in traffic light,i think same same.IMHO
Most pax will want u to turn left and go by Telok Blangah Rd > Pasir Panjang Rd > West Coast Highway > Jln Buroh > Tg Kling. This is the most direct and shortest route to Tg Kling, not taking into account the number of traffic junctions.

if you turn right, there is only 1 traffic junction.
if you turn left, there are at least7 traffic lights.
Exactly, this was the reason for the hesitations.
Still like a stubborn old uncle, using the same old way before the new AYE entrance via keppel was built. Always turn left, never once turn right before. Need to ask myself again why don't turn right.
bro, if use AYE via Keppel entrance, that means u have to turn right and go ALL THE WAY to end of Keppel Rd, past Tg Pagar junction and made a U-turn. r u going for sight-seeing???
