STOMPers Fiona and Matt caught sight of a white Lamborghini that had crashed onto the fence along the road divider along Collyer Quay. Said Fiona: "A white Lamborghini
drove right into the fence on Dec 31 2012. "This happened along Collyer Quay (the direction heading towards Suntec City). "If not for the pillar that stopped the impact, I
think it would have gone over to the opposite direction of the road." Fiona later further elaborated over the phone: "The accident happened around 11.30pm to 11.45pm.
The Lamborghini was travelling on the first lane and there was no car or obstruction in front of it. "We suddenly heard the sound of impact, and there was no skidding noise,
which we felt was strange. It just hit the fence and the impact seemed quite loud and the bonnet was dented quite badly and smoke came out. "A young lady, maybe in her
early 20s, wearing high heels and a red polka dotted skirt came out from the passenger side, but she acted cool, like nothing had happened. The guy, also a young guy,
later came out 15 to 20 minutes later. They seemed to be unhurt as they then walked to the opposite side of the road. "I was in a car parked on the fourth lane, we were
waiting to catch a glimpse of the fireworks, but soon the Traffic Police and AETOS came and told us to move away. By then quite a lot of people had gathered, the TP were
directing traffic and passers-by were taking photos of the accident. "I was unable to gauge the speed the Lamborghini was travelling at, but it was a clear, straight road,
so it's crazy how they managed to crash. "Later we returned to the scene to see if the couple were alright, and we saw the guy sitting on the steps while the girl was
walking around and talking to her friend. I also saw the Traffic Police pass the car key to her, and he was holding a pink IC and a driving licence. Not sure who it belonged to."
STOMPer Matt uploaded a photo of the accident onto his facebook wall after the countdown to 2013 and said: "The Lambo Gaillardo driver was clearly playing chicken with a guard rail."
STOMPer TIB1186Z also sent in a photo of the accident.
The location is an accident hotspot which has already seen numerous accidents this year. The STOMPer said: "Yet another accident at the accident-prone Rochor Road near Bugis Junction.
"This time it involved one or two motorbikes and a cab. "Happened to pass by that area at around 10.15pm. "I believe it just happened as one biker, not known if he is one of the parties
involved or just a helper, was seen directing the traffic and no police was seen at the scene yet."

Motorcyclist crashes bike when woman driver changes lanes abruptly
Posted on 10 Jan 2013
STOMPer Louie is appealing for witnesses after he crashed his motorcycle into a car because the driver slowed down after changing lanes suddenly.
The STOMPer wrote: "I am appealing for witnesses to an accident that happened along CTE towards Ang Mo Kio Ave 1 at about 1.30pm on Jan 9 2013.
I suffered abrasions and a swollen knee and had to stay one night in the hospital. "An aunty driving a Kia Cerato changed lanes and came into my lane
and slowed down when I was going straight. "I could not brake on time and crashed into her car from the rear. "When she approached me, I asked her
why she drove like that? Cannot exit at Ang Mo Kio Ave 3 and exit at the next one? "She told me she wanted to exit, but when CISCO came, she told the
officers she changed into my lane and wanted to exit at Ang Mo Kio Ave 1. "Even if she wanted to exit at Ang Mo Kio Ave 1, do you think I will risk my
wife's life and mine to go crash into her?? "Think about it. Be honest to yourself about what you did that caused this accident. "She shifted her car after
the accident. When CISCO asked her why she shifted she claimed that she didn't know cannot shift, and was afraid to obstruct the traffic.
At around 5.30pm that day, Miss Lim went with her fiance to an eatery near Farrer Park MRT station, but went back to her home as she had forgotten to take something.
It was then that the car, which was parking at Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple in Serangoon Road, reversed into her from the main road, throwing her into the vehicle's rear windscreen, shattering it.
She is now unable to cancel the ceremony as it means she will forfeit the money from the hotel and will have to inform all their guests. Miss Lim says she will ask to leave the hospital for her wedding.
Lorry crashes through trees and ends up on wrong side of road at Thomson
STOMPer Jeevva noticed a lorry which had rammed through trees and ended up on the opposite side of the road at Thomson Road at about 7.30am today (Jan 30).
Said the STOMPer:
"Today while I was driving towards Thomson Road just before the flyover of CTE and SLE, I saw this lorry as it is in the picture.
"It can be seen that it had rammed through the trees.
"Drivers please be very careful if you are tired are not feeling well please take a MC or a day off from work as you can see that you can put both your own life and someone else's life in danger."
Bull****...!! How you know earlier on the taxi didn't do something that made the government servant mad?... Government servants dun anyhow act foolishly... Some more driving QX car...
How do you know that the driver is a high ranking officer? How do you know that the person using the handicap lot is a fake police man?
I do agree that stomp will be a more credible site without people who speculate, spread rumours, hauling wild allegations, usig of vulgarities, being racist and having an axe to grind!
It is true that the driver is ungracious. But do you know what is road bully? You need to read up your Road Traffic Act before making allegations.
If you are a driver and you were to come across such ungracious drivers, will you force yourself into others lane or you stop and wait for other chance? Why must mati mati go in front of that ungracious driver?

Woman cyclist crosses road during red light, forcing driver to jam car brakes
STOMPer Richard caught sight of a young female cyclist who rode her bicycle across a pedestrian crossing when the traffic light was not in her favour. An incoming vehicle also had to hit the brakes to avoid hitting her, said the STOMPer.
Said the STOMPer:
"Cyclist's daredevil attempt.
"This evening (Feb 2) about 6.30pm at Toa Payoh Lorong 4, I saw this young lady cyclist crossing the pedestrian crossing when the light was not in her favour.
"About mid way, an incoming vehicle had to jam its brakes to avoid hitting her.
"Think more education and traffic cameras must be installed at junctions especially in housing estates."
No one stopped man from riding bicycle into MRT station and boarding crowded train
A STOMPer caught sight of a man who cycled into an MRT station and even boarded the train without folding his bicycle. The old man was also not stopped by the staff there, said the STOMPer.
Said the STOMPer:
"I just want to share what I saw Jan 26, 2013 in the afternoon.
"An old man was seen cycling his way into Little India MRT station. He did not fold up his bicycle and I am not sure if this is the foldable type.
"A staff member wearing a polo T-shirt was stationed near the ticket gate (where communters need to tap in and out). He did not stop the old man from further cycling. Instead the old man cycled his way to the lift and took thelift down to the platform.
"It was crowded at that time as it was during the Thaipusam festival.
"The old man pushed his bicycle into the already-crowded train and commuters inside the train had to give space to the old man and his bicycle when the train door closing was sounding.
"Why didn't the staff member stop the old man from cycling inside the train station?"
