Lorry driver who hit woman biker opens up: Even my wife is not happy

He is Singapore¡¯s most hated lorry driver. Because of him, a young woman is now in hospital with a fractured right shoulder and other injuries.
His friends and family have scolded him. Neighbours have avoided him. Netizens have had a field day bashing him online after a video of the accident went viral.
It has created intense pressure on the driver whose lorry sideswiped a motorcycle on the Pan-Island Expressway on Jan 18, landing its woman rider in hospital.
Mr Goh Yu Zhong (above), 52, said: ¡°I¡¯m sorry for what has happened and hope the young woman gets better soon.¡±

A video clip of the accident on the PIE has gone viral along with angry sentiments raised by netizens who appear to be targeting the driver.
It showed female motorcyclist Hazel Ng, a 26-year-old trainee teacher, riding in the centre lane on the PIE when a lorry tailgated and hit her.
Meanwhile, Ms Ng is recuperating after the surgery to her right arm and shoulder. She told The Straits Times: ¡°I¡¯m lucky that a witness helped me get the video so at least I know I¡¯m not in the wrong.¡± The police yesterday (Jan 24) said that investigations are ongoing.
He was driving along the Pan Island Expressway on Friday afternoon when the lorry in front of him suddenly cut into the path of a motorbike, sideswiping it and throwing the rider onto the road.
