Actually I find that classical music also has a calming effect. When I get cranky kids/babies in my cab, i switch to 92.4FM. Some how, it does helps to calm them down. I also turn it on at the end of the work day to wind down when i have a long and/or stressful day.
Although nowadays I mostly listen to soothing calming chinese mandopop......even the Grasshopper草蜢is back and not on旧情绵绵 yet.....but heard this great song on FM95 english radio...and was quite surprise It's none other than Bon Jovi (the mid 80s and 90s era)
