Can we pick up our family members at airport arrival hall with busy sign?

regular pickup or family members are allowed.

the cisco will approach the pax and ask questions if they suspect you pickup illegally. the pax wouldn't lie for you if is a random pickup and you will die. biggrin

after driving for some time, judge yourself if the booking is worth to accept. lets say if the distance is too far away, or you have to make a big de-route back, or the traffice is too heavy to make your way there, do not accept.

if you are driving for CDG, you may want to set your MDT to "Scheme B". calls will still comes in & under scheme B, you won't get the '1 hour no call penalty', no matter how many times you reject.

if you are not able to find the location fast enough, call the pax & ask them for the exact location. sometimes the MDT(i mean the operator :p) may not gives you a clear direction too.

don't let yourself feel stress over bookings & not able to reach the location within the timing. this can also endanger you on the road. take some time to 'absorb' ba. chill ;)

Ya, some GPS by the MDT give wrong direction one.

eg. the BMW showroom at alexandra rd. knn, he sent me to leng kok bahru, the back door of the showroom. furious

another one is avalon at anson road, GPS leads me to the back door. confuse

Do you guys feel light headed after driving? Also I pee a lot man. Think almost a good full minute... Dont know where the fluid came from.

You just need to get use to driving taxi as it is very different from driving own car. You need a lot of attention on the road situation, as well as finding pax in the same time. maybe you can eat some sugar free sweet (because too much sweet also no good :p) In between 1~2 hours, you can take a short 5 minuted break like get down the vehicle & do some stretching, toilet break, etc.

As for peeing issue, you can close the air-con outlet at your side, increase the temperature slightly to suit you. If the pax request to blast the air-con, change it back to normal once the pax alight. Alternatively, bring along a jacket to keep your body warm enough so that you won't go for too many toilet break. Of course, water is a must & do not endure not going to toilet. You may get bladder stone in very short time.

Lol! I also kena. I didnt buy any GPS, juz use google map (the older version pls) which serves me well so far. I kena same problem with gps, it will juz tell u there location, sometimes backside or side sdie. Like taxi uncle said, needs experience to know where is what. What i find challenging is also to find the taxi stands. I gave up using navi on mdt, bloody hangs all the time
