Hi all, have been driving for two weeks. Driving from 5.30 to abt 2am - mon to sat. Average earning abt 107. Can anyone advise how to earn above $150 per day? The number that i earn now dun make sense that taxi driver can reach 3k per month. Please advise. Am i too anxious to earn more?

Yes , longer hours plus experience a must. Everyone has his or her driving pattern can't really tell which is best. As for me I usually hoot a long distance advance call plus a return trip will probably cover the rental with two trips . If no traffic jam , it will take about an hour slightly more to do that . Hope it helps.

you were driving 9 hours before menus off break time.

average of $100 x 30 days = $3000...not wrong.

to earn more, you must know your location, where to go, at what time.

For newbie want to earn more just drive longer hrs. You need to observe where is the demand /at what time.

After gaining some experience...you will know where to look for your next pax, instead of driving round n round trying your luck.

Good connection equal more income.

Pax from which taxi stand always goes to which place ? say if pickup from certain MRT taxi stand or neighbourhood shopping centre where u think pax will likely head to ? Possible to get a quick connection there ? Or empty back to town (for night driver)

Different cabby different style of driving. No right or wrong. Some like to join Q. Some will cruise to look for next pax.

Some depend on call/advance booking. Some are airport cabby.

Don't worry after gaining more experience your income will improve. All taxi drivers go thru almost the same thing.

lazybone is right, pax from certain taxi stand most likely goes to same area.

i always picked pax from novena taxi stand to quality hotel....so i stop going there. disbelief

I do not have a printer, so I wrote on paper & went to my nearest carparks and start putting on taxis. Sad to say that none of the CDG hirers call me but luckily the one & only transcab (I only put on 1 transcab epica :p) hirer called me up the very next morning. All depends on luck ba. All the best aww
