I would like to share some info about the above .. i stay in T Payoh so decided to check them out.
1. they are a recruitment agency for Premier taxi ; their ad at 'cabby.sg'
2. $50 per shift for Toyota Crown manual gear ; $60 per shift for Kia auto gear ; shift 6am-6pm & 6pm-6am
3. the Crown vehicles are 'old' - was told that they about 1 year or 2 years - from being taken off the road
4. Rental arrangement is 7 days/week full-on i.e. you can take any shift(s) off but you pay 'half' shift rental per shift off. One day notice is required for taking shift off and, a few days notice is required if you want to stop the rental arrangement.
5. day shift driver bringing car for service (once every month) will get rebate of $6 per hour ; service done at Defu
6. night shift driver wash car
7. NO DEPOSIT required ; even if you register as relief driver at Premier office
8. sign up to be a relief at Premier office at Changi south
9. total fees $112.90 for insurance & registration - must pay CASH
10. half-day training at Changi south office on Fri afternoons for MDT & cashless payment terminal
11. diesel at Changi south office/terminal is $1.24 per litre - only one diesel kiosk in Singapore
IMHO,
1. rental a bit high - Premier website advertise $69 & up for Crown taxis - so agency take about $15 per DAY as agency fees
2. No deposit is a big PLUS for drivers who cannot or will not pay the deposit of $750 - $1000 asked by other taxi companies
3. Taking a day (shift) off have to pay 'half' rental - like somewhere between hirer (have to pay full day rental) & relief (no need to pay)
At the end, decided to wait a bit longer for a 'blue' taxi hirer to take me on as relief.
