The new type of taxi meter has one extra feature. <---> Are you aware of it ?
One day, during taxi servicing at the trans-cab workshop, one driver told me that he has an agreement with one passenger to send him to places regularly with a fixed price. He told me that he can use the meter to set whatever amount using his new type of taxi meter. (I tried on my taxi meter (old type) but it does not work) The method is : 1) Start the meter. 2) Press K1 & K4 together will change the amount to S$0.00. 3)Keep on pressing the K1 & press K4 one will change the amount to S$10, press second times will change the amount to S$20............. 4)Keep on press the K1 & press K3 will change the cents..... You can try on your taxi meter.
He wanted to set the amount on his new type of taxi meter, because he want to print the receipt for his passenger.
yes, smrt is Press OP start, K1 & K4 press together, K1- 1cent, K2-10cents, K3- $1, K4-$10.. so if u are fetching family use 1cents lo.. and can clock mileage too! :)
