1. Go down LTA with the letter that they will send you.
2. Take new photo if you do not want the one you submitted in your earlier application.
3. Wait 10 mins to collect brand new TDVL.
4. Register with the taxi company of your choice as hirer or relief and pay admin fee plus deposit. Deposit can be in monthly instalments up to 6 months.
5. Attend MDT course.
6. If you are hirer, choose your cab type and wait. Waiting time could be as long as one month or more now.
7. If you are relief, you need to find hirer or taxi co. will find a match for you.
Once you have found your hirer, you need to report to the taxi co. They will give you a ID and password for the MDT and you can start about two to three days later.
Up to step 5 above, could be about 3 weeks from now. Steps 6 and 7 will depend if you have a hirer or not or if taxi co, has the cab for you.
Hi Dazze, LTA just return my call saying that they will be sending out the letter this week. So hope to get it and go LTA to get the license then go to CDG to apply as relief. :)
