definitely to discourage OMO so more people can drive a taxi and cover the demand during peak hours.

there were also some statistics from LTA on which companied met their requirements.

including other factors such as meeting advance booking and current calls KPI, other forum sources.

Hi all sorry to be so loh soh- how do the taxi coys guage whether their hirers are adhering to these availability standards?

Hey rat,

Taxi Coys tracked via the MDT which is GPS enabled too..From this year onwards, LTA will issue fines to the Taxi Coys if they do not meet the KPIs. It remains to be seen whether Taxi Coys will similarly impose fines on their drivers...
